Achilles Tendinitis

Bionova_achilles-tendonitis

Achilles tendinitis occurs when the Achilles tendon becomes inflamed as a result of the Achilles tendon being put under too much strain. It is generally caused by overuse of the affected limb and is more common among athletes training under less than ideal conditions. Development of Achilles tendinitis depends on the type, frequency and severity of exercise or use. It is a common injury, particularly in sports that involve lunging and jumping.
